Straight line, they're equal (4.8 0-60 for both; 105 trap time for the M3 in the 1/4, 106 for the NSX-R). Around a track, the NSX-R is faster (the NSX-R was the version made at the same time as the e46).

in my opinion, the NSX is mostly all show and not a whole lotta go...So, yeah, the BMW would probably smoke it.
