The dealer where you bought the car should have it on file. Their mechanics need it when they change the battery. Also your owner's manual should have a card attached with the code.
Just take it to the dealer and pay them the $50 to fix it!

It's probably a Harmon Kardon radio. There should be a little business card that has the radio code on it in the little organizer which holds the owner's manual. If you don't have the card, you'll have to take it to the dealer to be unlocked... and you'll probably need proof of ownership.
Code is usually a 5 digit number. If you enter three codes incorrectly in a row, you'll have to turn the radio off for an hour before you try again. Three incorrect entries lock the radio completely until it's turned off for an hour.
BTW... does the stereo system in your Z3 seem to shake and rattle alot with the least amount of bass? Even the upgraded sound systems in the Z3s seem to be some of the worst systems I've ever heard. Completely replaced mine!
Not 100% sure this will work but showing this as code in program I have
Enter Data 6ca8 hit OK Code = 1234
But you will have to call and see HOW you enter this because program doesn't include those directions.
