It depends on what kind of car you're looking for. If you're looking for all out performance, there is the Corvette Z06 and the BMW M6. The corvette is more performance track oriented than a 6-series, but if you're looking for serious performance with a fair amount of luxury as well, a 6 series can offer that

Go for the "Vette"
It's an entirely different driving experience. Drive both of them thoroughly - even ask to take them home overnight. The 6-series may be a better daily driver but both are fun and will hold their value.

BMW took a hit in the most recent JD Power initial quality survey, so don't fall for the BMW superior quality hype.

as for the question. The answer is the BMW. The 650 is far superior to any vette, including the Z06. Although the vette may perform better, the BMW is in an entirely different class. BMW has mastered the art of combining everyday drivability and world class handling. The Corvette is nice, but not even close to the 650cic.
Those are 2 very different cars that are designed to fill very different niches. If you have the money to afford either one, they are both amazing cars. Comes down to personal preference.
