Depends on what position you're interning for? Is it working at BMW corporation or at a local dealership? Are you going to work as a teller at your local Citibank branch or at one of their offices? Are you seriously looking for some fun or some money? Don't let your need for instant gratification pull you towards BMW just because of the name. Make sure the position, wherever you choose, has a future and there's potential for a full time postion once you graduate.
An internship at a Citibank will insure your future in the business world. Of course, it depends on what route you take once you enter the business world. But it will probably be easier to make the $100K salary at a bank....then you can go out and buy yourself that M5 that you're dreaming of! I may be talking out of line because I don't know much about corporate BMW..they probably have a good corporate record too...but I've never heard of someone coming from corporate BMW to work at an investment bank. Maybe that's because BMW is such a great company to work for?! =)
