check power at the pump. it's located under the back seat on passengers side. if no power check pump fuse and relay. if power you have a bad pump.
note - you have to check the power when cranking.
1996 bmw 328 is ran out of gas and the fuel pump wont go on?firewall
u probably sucked dirt or debri out of the tank by running it out of gas which can ruin a fuel pump
