driving down the motorway today, no nasty noises, plenty of petrol in the tank (3/4's), turns over on the key fine but will not fire? any help please!!!!

i had same problem with mine few years back it was a box on side of wing it controlls the spark its called an amplifer
it was 70 quid then. so proberbly more now

I also had a similar thing with a BMW. It was the anti lock brake mechanism cutting the engine out but Ithink your other answer is more likely the problem with yours
