What is h11poc smoking? The E46 has 90 more horsepower than the E36 and is the car Europe always had, but we wished we had in the US so how can you say it's the best of breed?

And even though you didn't ask about the new E92 M3 V8 (which is a first since M3's have always been 6 cylinders) the E46 M3's numbers are nearly identical and it's 6 banger compare to an 8. The E46 is 333hp compared to 415hp and the numbers are only 10th's of a second difference yet cost is $20k to $30k more!!!

E36 was a great car for it's time, don't get me wrong, but it is NOTHING compared to the E46. I have a modified 1995 325is that is almost as fast as an E36 M3 so don't get it twisted.

No, actually, both the e46 and e36 suck balls in terms of looks. e30 is where it's at.
You鈥檙e gonna have be a little more specific than that.

First, the E36 and E46 are no longer in production. The E36 went out in 2000 (after a 5 year run) and the E46 went out in 2006 (almost 6 year run.) Both of those cars pale in comparison to the new E92 M3 due out in spring of 2008.
