eg 320 i, is, se , ci, ti,

i know ti means its a compact version but what do the rest mean

the i means its a pertrol whilst a d would mean diesel.

you have xi and xd meaning 4 wheel drive

ci/cd means its a coupe/cabriolet then petrol or diesel.

i've never seen se before (in europe)

anything else you need? the numbers you know what they mean? for example 520d means its a 2000cc (approx) and diesel, a 645i means 4500cc and petrol etc.........take the last two digits and place a decimal dot and thats how many litres, this isn't always right but most models work that way, mercedes do somthing similar - E500 means 5 litre E220 cdi means 2.2 litre diesel etc.
