If a BMW has a problem, does it cost a lot to get it fixed?

Is the Pope Catholic?

If a BMW has a problem, does it cost a lot to get it fixed?norton

as a rule yes. Same with Mercedes, Lexus, Saab and even a Cadi. The more 'exclusive' a car is the more it costs to fix. These cars have very sophisticated workings and it is not cheap to repair. Fortunately, my experience with BMW is that they hold up for very long periods between servicing calls. Very reliable..Nice.

Good, God, where are you from??

BMW = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (yours going towards service, mystery electrical ghosts, tires, and on, and on, and on.
oh yes ;luxury is expensive!
I think that most BMWs have a 4 year 50,000 mile warranty. Bumper to bumper.
Ha! As the owner of a 97 M3, I think I'm qualifed to answer this one as not just yes, but %26lt;i%26gt;hell%26lt;/i%26gt; yes! They are fun cars but seem to require rather frequent maintenance.
Depends on the problem and where you take it.....A dealer might charge more than a independent mechanic at a local garage. Upon careful inspection of the problem, i would consider getting it fixed correctly despite the cost. Especially were talking BMW here....if you can afford the car, you can afford the fix...
all M, 5, 6 and 7- YES
If you get others to do the work, then yes. It also depends on the problem. Not all BMW repairs are expensive, just a lot of them are.
