Camshaft position bmw 323i?

I believe you are asking for the camshaft position to set the timing.

set it to number 1 and fit the Timing belt.check for the marking and set it.After fitting the timing belt and once tensioner tighten,please turn the crankshaft pulley to see if is turning free without any knocking.

Dont crank the engine unless u r sure of no knocks.
