The leather trim has popped out around the passenger side dash airbag. Can I repair this easily without tripping the airbag sensor?

do not touch. go to bmw dealer the restraint system is usally warrnteed for 1o yrs they may not allow a cosmetic defect at this age but if it would cause the bag to deploy in the wrong direction it could injure or kill somone they may give it to you or at a reduced price no harm in asking . note if you
modify it in any way the liabilty will be on you.
