They are both good built cars but i would say the lexus will maintain your pockets ,i do own a lexus IS 300 and also work for a used car facility.BMW will cause more in the long run.

is350 has more power but bmw will prob get metter fuel economy and last longer
is350 = more power and its all wheel drive
Depends on if you need the backseat. If I needed it more than once a month, I would go with the BMW, but the Lexus is a better all-around car. They should have made a coupe and a longer-wheelbase sedan.
