Ive owned honda's %26 Acura's %26 haven't had any repair done to it except for basic maintenance. Honda are great cars but my sister has a 2005 BMW and it always needs some kind of repairs...

The question is which one is better car? Honda is more forgiving than reliable. You still need to replace bunch of filters every 30,000 miles. If you don't, Honda will still go another 30,000. no problem. If you do that to BMW, it will choke and would cost you more in the long run.

BMW is simply best handling car. Period.

They are both easy to work on. I find that BMWs are much easier to work on than Honda. However, special tools are more expensive than Honda and is more expensive.

Driving BMW in winter, you want to get set of snow tires because most BMWs are rear wheel drive. Honda cars are front wheel driven so don't usually need snow tires (but I do use them anyway)
yes. better than acura too. except for the cost...find out for yourself. test drive a BMW and a Honda....:-)
Its like comparing an orange to an apple, not a fair comparison. Both have their pros and cons in terms of Handling, ride comfort, performance, price and status symbol .... So after all, it all depend on what you want. If you think status symbol is most important and willing to pay more, go for the BMW. If you want better value for money and cheaper maintenance and repair cost, then Honda will be a better choice. Both are equally reliable, handles well and great performer.
