Does BMW make a chrome exhaust shield that hides the discoloration of the existing exhaust pipes.?

In the early 70's there were some after market heat shields available that covered the exhaust headers on the section just down from the heads. But I haven't seen any similar products since then.

You can try Blue Away or other similar products. They make the pipes less blue for awhile. I don't worry, or think about, the pipes turning blue anymore.

The more blue the better. At speeds over 100MPH the pipes turn blue farther down the pipe. Of course your tires will wear out faster. If you're worried about blue pipes and tire wear keep the bike in the garage. Blue pipes are so hot they're cool.
not sure about that but if there is discoloration it's usually due to incorrect air fuel mixture. blue is lean mixture and gold is rich mixture. if the colour continues to spread you may have some carb issues.
just ride the bike and don't worry about the color of the pipes.
Yes they do or did. I have them on a /2 and a /6

Try Bob's BMW in Maryland and look at vintage section
